Meghan Boehmer is a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design and a costume designer by trade. She started out in theatre, acting in Shakespeare plays with the Rebel Shakespeare Company, but soon found her place behind the scenes rather than onstage.
She has designed in theatre and film. Starting as an intern and Boston Ballet, she has worked at prestigious Boston Area Theatres such as the Hutington. She has also designed for the Luminarium Dance Company and Boston Arts Academy. Her passion for costume design comes from a love of history and a unique understanding of the workings of various eras based on history, music and art combined.
